Most of this site talks about moving abroad, because that’s where the practice started. But anxiety, low mood, overwhelm, and the midlife season don’t require a relocation — and a growing part of Rose’s work is with Croatians who never went anywhere.
Working in English with someone outside your own social fabric has a specific advantage in a small country: distance. No mutual acquaintances, no waiting room you might be seen in, no small-town calculus about who knows what. Just structured, private, skills-based work — by video, from wherever you are.
Sessions are in English (Rose’s Croatian is a work in progress — she’ll say so herself). Comfortable conversational English is genuinely enough.
