Crisis resources

If you’re struggling, you don’t have to wait for the next session.

Coaching with Rose is not a crisis service. If you’re experiencing a mental health crisis or thoughts of self-harm, please contact one of the resources below — local emergency services first if you’re in immediate danger.

The lines below are free, anonymous (in most cases), and run by trained volunteers and clinicians in your country. You don’t need a referral. You don’t need to be "in enough of a crisis" to call.

Scope reminder

Coaching is not crisis care. Here’s the difference.

Coaching with Rose is skills-based work for people who are functional and want to be more so. It assumes you have the capacity for between-sessions practice, can keep yourself safe, and aren’t in active crisis.

When a client comes to a session in crisis, the right move is to pause the coaching and connect them to crisis resources or clinical care. That’s not a coaching failure — it’s the system working as intended.

If reading this page makes you realize you need clinical care right now, that’s useful information. The crisis lines above are free and immediate. A licensed clinician in your jurisdiction is the next step beyond that.
